This 60-year-old patient, who experienced nipple elongation and breast asymmetry due to breastfeeding, came in for improvement. The patient also suffers from scoliosis, which often leads to breast asymmetry. In her case, the left breast had more volume than the right, and the left accessory breast was also larger. Additionally, the left nipple was longer than the right, making the asymmetry more noticeable.
To correct the asymmetry and create a natural shape, we chose different implant types for the two sides, using a 2-stage implant for the left side and a 3-stage implant for the right, with a height difference to balance the breasts. Motiva implants were used: 400 cc for the right side and 340 cc for the left. To address the nipple size discrepancy, approximately 8mm of tissue was removed from the left nipple to make both sides proportionate to the breast size.
The patient experienced rapid recovery and, in the end, achieved a youthful, symmetrical, and firm breast shape despite her age. The patient was very satisfied with the natural and youthful transformation.
