A female patient in her 20s visited the clinic for improvement of her prominent double chin, which developed after chin surgery performed five years ago.
During the chin surgery, the bone was resected and moved, and as a result, the soft tissues were either not fixed or shifted, often leading to the appearance of a double chin.
In such cases, it is important to readjust the remaining soft tissues and fat layers and appropriately reposition them after the bone surgery. In this surgery, the remaining soft tissues were dissected and repositioned, and 50cc of fat was removed, improving the double chin. Post-surgery, the previously prominent double chin in the chin area was effectively improved.
